Welcome to Silk
Tree Nurseries Sculptural Plants. We are a UK working nursery based in
Oxford who specialize in sculptural, specimen, and unusual
plants, and our main areas of growing are Wisteria, Grape Vines,
Climbers grown to 10ft, Cloud Trees, Jungle Style Plants,
Ferns, Grape Vines, and Japanese Style
Plants.
We have a retail display nursery in Oxford,
and operate a mail order service for plants from 1inch to 10ft !. Our plants
are carefully wrapped and shipped via a courier who we have been
with the past 10 years, and we have successfully shipped 6ft Banana Trees,
10ft Wisteria, 10ft cedars, cloud tres, bonsai trees, 7ft Cordylines, specimen Japanese Maples, etc. and you
can be sure plants will arrive safe and secure ready for planting.
Our minimum shipping cost is £9.99 and if you click on
shipping, this will explain the costs. We only ship plants to the
UK - no international orders at all, and we cannot ship to islands
(inc. Isle of Wight) and the Scottish Highlands.
We are primarily a retail nursery, but do a
lot of business with landscapers and garden designers who can obtain a
small trade
discount at the Oxford site. We do not sell wholesale, but are pleased to
quote for any plant that we may have in quantity .

Our nursery is part of the MILL VIEW GARDEN CENTRE, Ladder Hill, Wheatley,
Oxford. OX33 1HY
The Mill View Garden Centre also offers free range eggs, house
plants, bedding plants, superb hanging baskets, and a choice
selection of hardy perennials. A wonderful cafe serving
breakfasts, lunches, cakes, drinks, and snacks is situated in the
garden centre. Wheatley Birds of Prey is also located within the
garden centre.
